Remember Monica and Rachel’s apartment on the sitcom Friends? That would be such a cool fantasy for me to call that home! It’s not just that the décor of the apartment was way cool, but that they lived in New York City!
I mean honestly, how much would that place have cost? I can’t even imagine the realistic price tag since I’ve always lived in Arizona, where the cost of living is relatively cheap. And I own a house which is not much bigger than that apartment… I’d call it cozy, ha!…which contributes to the cheapness. But anyways….
Maybe the most attractive part of the fantasy would be to live in a place where you barely hold down a job and afford such a cool apartment that happens to be close to all your friends. Hmmm…yeah right?!
...So I was curious if the internet community had any thoughts to the price of this famous apartment…Curbed.com says $2.9 million! Looks like I’m out of that market!

I am not a huge fan of the show, but the apt was nice! Funny how living in AZ warps your sence of price and size, huh?
Maybe they were living in a rent controlled apartment? That would explain how they could afford to live there.

I watched a show about how "unaffordable" the apartment was and that even if you got the apartment for free from a family member that the furniture/accessories were half a million alone... a bit out of the girls price range LOL!
Have never seen this T. V. Show. But would love to visit New York someday!
